THE SOZO DANCE & DRAMA TEAM LEAD HAS THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO:
DEVELOP YOUTH & CHILDREN IN SOUTHEAST BRADENTON.
LEAD A PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM THAT TOURS & PERFORMS.
WORK ALONGSIDE A PASSIONATE TEAM OF LEADERS WHO ARE AUTHENTIC AND CARING.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
SOZO Missions Team Leads are the primary front line leaders of our individual volunteers who graciously lead with authority and love. These are high energy leaders who carry themselves with optimism and consistency as they encourage those they lead. SOZO Missions Team Leads are organized thinkers who serve well as intentional inspiration and coordinators for a specific volunteer team. They are able to teach, instruct, and train their team with a relational and approachable heart. SOZO Missions Team Leads also communicate the vision and culture of SOZO Missions while modeling and cultivating healthy habits of prayer, faith, and encouragement to themselves and their team.

THE PRIMARY TASKS YOU’LL PERFORM
The SOZO Missions Dance & Drama Team Lead is responsible for the following tasks:
Audition, select, and recruit new Performing Arts Team members.
Develop kid/youth-appropriate individual and group choreography for performers.
Collaborate with Team Leads and Directors from other departments to schedule performances.
Schedule and lead weekly practices with the Performing Arts Team.
Create an energetic and fun culture for Performing Arts Team members.
Actively develop positive discipleship-level relationships with Performing Arts Team members.
Collaborate with the Operations Department for facility needs and transportation needs and/or be ready and willing to
oversee the pick-up and drop-off of students for SOZO Performing Arts programs/events.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; however not required.
Authentic Relationship Building Skills with Adults and Young People.
Naturally Organized Thinker.
A desire to minister to youth through performing arts and to develop their gifts.
Personally Bought into the Vision and Values of SOZO Missions.
Passion and experience in diverse genres of theatrical performance and dance/choreography (with an emphasis
on hip-hop).
Ability to inspire and motivate student performers to use their talents to their fullest potential.
WHAT WE’RE OFFERING YOU
The SOZO Missions’ Dance & Drama Team Lead is compensated as a part time 1099 employee with the following compensation:
