THE SOZO MISSIONS TRANSPORTATION TEAM LEAD ROLE
THE SOZO MISSIONS TRANSPORTATION TEAM LEAD HAS THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO:
SERVE CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND THEIR FAMILIES IN SOUTHEAST BRADENTON.
HAVE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT ON OUR ENTIRE MISSION BY PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION FOR THOSE IN NEED IN OUR COMMUNITY.
WORK ALONGSIDE A PASSIONATE TEAM OF LEADERS WHO ARE AUTHENTIC AND CARING.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
SOZO Missions Team Leads are the primary front line leaders of our individual volunteers who graciously lead with authority and love. These are high energy leaders who carry themselves with optimism and consistency as they encourage those they lead. SOZO Missions Team Leads are organized thinkers who serve well as intentional inspiration and coordinators for a specific volunteer team. They are able to teach, instruct, and train their team with a relational and approachable heart. SOZO Missions Team Leads also communicate the vision and culture of SOZO Missions while modeling and cultivating healthy habits of prayer, faith, and encouragement to themselves and their team.
THE PRIMARY TASKS YOU’LL PERFORM
The SOZO Missions Transportation Team Lead is responsible for the following tasks:
Transporting children and youth to and from their homes for SOZO events.
Document driving expenses (i.e. gas purchases made with personal funds).
Keep company vehicles locked and secure when not in use.
Serve as authority figure during transportation of children and youth.
Actively develop positive relationships with children and youth during routes.
Adhere to company vehicle policy at all times.
Monitor gas, tire pressure, and all fluid levels.
Clean, wash, and vacuum assigned vehicle at least once a month or as needed.
Recruit and assist in training of new transportation volunteers.
Manage all scheduling of transportation volunteer tasks.
Serve as a practical and spiritual encouraging leader to your team.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
High School diploma or GED required.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
CDL preferred but not required.
Authentic Relationship Building Skills with Adults and Young People.
Naturally Organized Thinker.
Personally Bought in to the Vision and Values of SOZO Missions.
Energetic, Enthusiastic, Patient and Compassionate.
WHAT WE’RE OFFERING YOU
The SOZO Missions Transportation Team Lead is compensated as a part time 1099 employee with the following compensation:
$20/Hour
Maximum of 10 hours per week for SOZO Missions activities.
Maximum of 5 hours per event for other SOZO Missions events.
Paid on 15th and final day of each month.
Opportunity to grow into a part time W2 role.
